The Management School, The University of Sheffield, UK
Sheffield University's Management School is a multidisciplinary school employing 40 academic staff, who are assisted by a part-time teaching team and 18 support staff. The School's aims and objectives are consistent with the University's mission 'to maintain the highest standards of excellence as a research-led institution, whose staff work at the frontiers of academic enquiry and educate students in a research environment. The School has a strong regional and international orientation, with its Enterprise and Regional Development Unit enabling research to drive and be driven by new outreach and teaching initiatives and link up with the School's contribution to the South East European Research Centre.
Istanbul Commerce University (ITICU), Turkey
The Istanbul Commerce University has been established with the initiative of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce and aims to bring the vision of international knowledge participation and scientific research in modern and applied education supported by modern technologies. The university has about 4000 students and is composed of five faculties and vocational education centres running graduate programs, and a further three Institutes running graduate programs focusing on industrial applications. The faculty consists of 165 full time professors with notable experience in local and international universities.
South-East European Research Centre (SEERC), Thessaloniki, Greece
The South East European Research Centre (SEERC) has been set-up by City Liberal Studies-Thessaloniki and Sheffield University (UK) as a multi-disciplinary, international, non-profit research centre and think tank based in Thessaloniki. SEERC's mission is to support the sustainable, long-term political, economic, and social development of South Eastern Europe (SEE) by conducting pure and applied research and policy analysis in and for the region. Core research areas include Business and Economic Analysis, Political and Social studies, Information Technology and Cultural issues.
University of National and World Economy, Sofia, Bulgaria
One of the oldest and largest Universities in Bulgaria and South Eastern Europe with its roots going back to 1920. Having gone through major transformation has come to take its current form over the 1990s and has achieved a high degree of dynamism over the past 5 years with 30,000 students and over 1000 members of staff. The University has a special focus on postgraduate education with a high degree of excellence in economic and business education and research. International business and financial management as well as business law and foreign trade are some of its well known educational fields.
